Healthcare Initiatives
• Extending Apollo services beyond 10 PM, with a goal of 24×7 availability.
• Establishing a PM Jan Aushadhi Kendra in the IITD market for affordable medicines, accessible to female hostels and professors.
• Increasing specialist consultation hours on demand (e.g., gynaecology, dermatology).
• Full hospital digitalisation addressing backend security and system reliability.

• Brochure-based dissemination of hospital guidelines via SAC website and Instagram.
Transport Initiatives
• Collaborating with Battery Smart or procuring additional batteries to reduce e-rickshaw charging downtime.

• Formalising e-rickshaw stops and expanding the network to Katwaria Sarai and DMS.

1. Extending the time period of the Apollo shop
Why: Lack of availability of essential medicines during late-night hospital emergencies after 10 PM.
How: Coordinating with Apollo to deploy additional workforce and extend operational hours.
2. Hospital Brochure
Why: To help students use hospital services efficiently within limited time and avoid unnecessary delays.
How: By providing practical guidance on optimising visits (e.g., collecting medicines later within the allowed time window to avoid long queues).
3. Expanding commute.iitd.ac.in
Why: Lack of real-time tracking and visibility for buses, e-rickshaws, and e-carts leading to inefficiencies.
How: Integrating tracking systems in each vehicle in collaboration with the Robotics Club and relevant stakeholders.
4. Regular commentary of important student meetings
Why: To keep the campus informed, engaged, and aware of key discussions, decisions, and developments.
How: Through consistent coverage, summaries, and reporting by BSP members across relevant platforms.
5. Regular SAC awareness sessions
Why: To ensure students are well-informed about SAC initiatives, resources, and how they can benefit from them.
How: Through structured sessions led by SAC members along with active participation from administrative representatives.
6. Freelancing Portal
Why: To consolidate and provide easy access to all freelancing opportunities related to IITD on a single platform.
How: By expanding the existing project portal into a comprehensive freelancing platform with better visibility and usability.
7. Best Food Outlet Award
Why: To incentivise vendors to consistently maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and service.
How: Based on structured food surveys, feedback mechanisms, and student ratings on the student portal.
8. PG Buddy program for PhD students
Why: Lack of proper guidance and structured support for PhD students during their initial semester.
How: Implementing department-wise mentor–mentee mapping to ensure personalised and relevant guidance.
9. Emergency room
Why: To provide hostel residents with immediate access to a room in special or medical emergency situations.
How: Requesting caretakers to keep a designated ground-floor room vacant and ensure its availability when required.
