TEAM STRUCTURE, ORGANISATION AND WORKING


• Recruit a Chief Editor for vernacular publications to expand BSP's outreach across diverse linguistic communities on campus.

• Establish a PG/PhD Co-Lead position to lead projects addressing PG concerns and improve research scholar representation within BSP publications.

• Organize internal workshops on design, journalism, and creative writing, conducted by experienced professionals and alumni.

• Implement structured project timelines using Gantt Charts under each Chief Editor to improve planning, coordination, and timely publication.

• Develop a repository of project briefs and post-project reports documenting workflows and challenges to guide current and future BSP teams.

• Proliferate print media by establishing a pipeline for printing & campus-wide distribution of bi-weekly TL;DRs across hostels.


JOURNALISM


• Establish a dedicated on-ground reporting team to cover major campus talks, seminars, and events, publishing timely reports.

• Launch "IIT Delhi Seasonals," a video-journalism series capturing student perspectives during exams, elections, and placement seasons.

• Create a BSP WhatsApp broadcast channel to share Campus Shorts, news updates, and important BSP announcements with the IITD community.

• Conduct awareness drives and workshops to increase participation in Opinion Articles and encourage submissions from the wider IITD community.


CREATIVE


• Launch IITD Diaries, a curated series capturing anonymous campus stories & reflections on hostel life, friendships, academic pressure, & growth.

• Diversify Muse Magazine by introducing multi-format storytelling including photo essays, graphical narratives, visual poetry, & creative nonfiction.

• Strengthen collaborations with Literary Club, Fine Arts & Crafts Club, & Hindi Samiti to host workshops & expand outreach of creative publications.


DESIGN


• Create a Rapid Design Response System with ready templates to enable quick turnaround for surveys, breaking news, election coverage, and campus explainers.

• Develop a BSP Illustration Bank with IITD-specific illustrations (hostels, SAC, LHC, campus life scenes) to strengthen visual storytelling.

• Conduct short collaborative design sprints in pairs to strengthen coordination, encourage creative exchange, and enhance technical skills through practice.

MEDIA

• Introduce "Explained in 60 Seconds," a short video format simplifying campus policies, institutional processes, and major student issues.

• Initiate a Campus Photojournalism Project documenting everyday life at IIT Delhi through curated photo stories and weekly visual features.

• Maintain a centralized media equipment tracking system ensuring proper allocation, accountability, and efficient management of media equipment.


OUTREACH


• Expand linguistic outreach by translating BSP content into vernacular languages, beginning with TL;DRs to reach a wider campus audience.

• Organize book launch events and author interactions with renowned writers to strengthen BSP's literary engagement on campus.

• Set up BSP print publication stalls in high-footfall locations like SAC, Library, and Exhibition Hall to increase readership.


LITERATI


• Restructure the Literati festival into a focused one-day event with limited high-engagement competitions and talks to maximize participation.

• Develop a structured marketing and publicity timeline with phased announcements, teaser content, speaker reveals, and collaborations with campus clubs.

• Prioritize quality over quantity in event planning, selecting competitions and talks with proven student interest to maximize footfall.


MISCELLANEOUS


• Ensure completion of the new BSP website with focus on accessibility for all; audio support, and screen reader text.

• Conduct quarterly full-team meetings and informal interactions to strengthen coordination between verticals and foster a collaborative working environment.
