• Won back-to-back Gold medals at the Inter-IIT Sports Meet held at Gandhinagar and Indore and a Silver medal at the Inter-IIT Sports Meet held at Madras.

• Conferred the Best Player Award in Swimming and Water Polo at the Inter-IIT Aquatics Meets held at Gandhinagar, Indore and Madras.

• Won laurels in Swimming, Water Polo, Basketball and Athletics across the Inter-Hostel General Championship over 3 years, showing versatility and competitive excellence.

As Vice-Captain, Aquatics

• Conducted orientation and trials, and led weekly practice and intense fitness training sessions to maximize fresher participation, build a strong team pipeline, and develop match temperament for high-pressure competition.

• Initiated the Tri-Series Water Polo Tournament between IIT Roorkee and IIT Kanpur, creating a structured platform for competitive match experience beyond Inter-IIT.

• Restarted the Aquatics GC and revived the Water Polo GC to actively scout and encourage new players to take up the sport, significantly broadening participation.

As Logistics CTM, Sportech '26

Awards

• Conferred the Outstanding Sportsperson Award and the Best Fresher Award at the SAC Awards, recognizing both early promise and sustained contribution to institute sports.

VISION

Vision for Inter-IIT

Nutrition & Player Welfare: Providing protein-rich milk and electrolytes to all contingent members, especially during high-intensity training phases leading up to Inter-IIT.

Physiotherapy, Recovery & Sports Counselling: Improving player welfare by upgrading physiotherapy infrastructure with better-qualified physios, introducing a dedicated massage therapist and appointing a Sports Counsellor to address the physical recovery and mental wellness needs of all contingent members.

Female Coaching Staff: Appointing female assistant coaches in sports such as Athletics, Tennis (subject to academy availability), and Basketball to improve inclusivity and player comfort during training.

Reimbursement: Seeking an increment in the Impress Fund to enable faster and smoother reimbursements for players attending external tournaments, reducing financial burden on students.

Alumni Engagement & Funding: Strengthening alumni engagement by organizing placement and internship guidance sessions while establishing a structured funding mechanism — through informal team-wise outreach and formally via the Alumni Relations (AR) office — enabling alumni to sponsor teams or equipment, supported by a dedicated vertical to sustain these pipelines year-round.

Team Bonding & Contingent Culture: Strengthening contingent culture through cross-sport informal matches with doubled prize incentives for winners, full contingent dinners, joint attendance at local fests, and regular progress meetings with all teams to sustain motivation and track performance across sports.

Marketing & Online Presence: Establishing a dedicated Marketing Vertical at the Advisor level within BSA, comprising non-sports advisors focused on round-the-year outreach, brand building, and sponsorship acquisition, including barter deals and in-kind sponsorships.

Infrastructure Improvement: Working towards improving the squash court conditions by getting the wooden flooring greased and smoothening the court walls, both of which are currently uneven and rough.

BSA for All

PWD Student Participation: Conducting inclusive GC events across hostels for differently-abled students and organizing a dedicated GC for PWD residents.

Promoting Non-Mainstream Sports: Promoting sports like Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, and Frisbee through regular campus-wide events throughout the year to build a broader sports culture beyond conventional games.

Mobility & Accessibility: Running a dedicated cart service or appointing electric rickshaws to ferry female students between hostels and SAC during practice hours.

Recognition & Motivation: Introducing a Best Player Award within the GC to recognize individual excellence and inspire higher performance standards.

Online Presence: Boosting BSA's online presence by increasing media team involvement to consistently document events, achievements, and player stories while producing professional high-quality reels and content across all social media handles throughout the year.

Wall of Fame: A pictorial gallery in the Mittal Sports Complex to inspire and preserve the legacy of IIT Delhi sports.

Mandatory Sports Introduction in Hostels: Introducing a mandatory sports orientation in all hostels at the start of the year where BSA representatives walk students through available sports, facilities, GC structure, and how to get involved — ensuring every student on campus is aware of what BSA offers.

Sportech

• Beginning Sportech planning well in advance of the event to allow sufficient time for expansion in scope, increase the number of participating teams, and improve overall event quality.

• Running dedicated round-the-year marketing campaigns for Sportech to maximize registrations, sponsorships, and campus-wide buzz well before the event.
