Motivation
For the last 3 years, BRCA has always played a role in shaping my overall IIT Delhi journey. Being part of various club activities has allowed me to work with so many amazing and talented people. Working in Rendezvous and during Inter-IIT tirelessly has shaped me in a way that I could've never imagined. All these experiences have led me to give back to the board and contribute on a larger scale by taking up the role of deputy general secretary.
Vision
Encourage a welcoming atmosphere throughout the board and incorporate healthy competition where it's required. Refining our art and surpassing in competitive spaces while ensuring that the board continues to be as inclusive as possible to the masses, strengthening the sense of a collective community.

Initiatives
BRCA Functioning
1. The Official BRCA Resource Book: An official learning resource guide where all the online resources, like videos and articles, are structured on the basis of skill level, which can be easily followed by everyone at their own pace.
2. Orientation Session for All POR Holders: A two-level orientation session at the club and hostel where the outgoing club secretary and the outgoing cultural secretary, respectively, can discuss the upcoming tenure with the incoming team. POR holders would be introduced to topics such as admin processes, effective management, etc. for effective knowledge transfer for the incoming teams.
3. Calendar meetings: Conducting a common calendar meeting at the start of both semesters with the club and cultural secretaries to ensure everyone is incorporated into the planning process to optimize the event timeline and avoid clashes.
4. Inter-IIT-style contention system: All the contentions for an event to be raised within a fixed time frame, which can vary for each competition after the pre-contention result declaration. All the contentions are to be discussed at the last weekend of the month in a common meeting.
5. Mid-term Review Meeting: Establishing a timeline for the technical, design, media, and alum teams through a series of checkpoints, which will be evaluated in a mid-term review meeting, and restructuring the teams, if needed.
6. Centralized vendor list for BHM and BRCA: Get the entire BRCA and BHM vendor list along with their current status with the institute to ensure that none of the hostels or clubs rely on vendors with recurring payments and push to get more new, better vendors to break monopolies.
7. Reforming BRCA classes: Introduce more verticals in BRCA classes and increase the outreach through the BRCA website and social handles.
Rendezvous
• Utilizing Summer Break for Phase 1 verticals: Ensuring that the core team is finalized as soon as possible, and utilizing summer holidays for tasks such as event finalization, updating sheets, drafting unstop pages, rulebooks, posts, designs, publicity ideas, etc.
• Early Coordination of Phase 1 and Phase 2: Working on Phase 2 from the start of the semester, ensuring the timely execution of the fest through early coordination of both phases.
• Expansion of Alumni Corpus: Expanding the contact directory of alums currently comprising BRCA G.Secs, SAC G.Secs, BRCA presidents, and SAC presidents. Reaching out to the alums at least 3 months prior to the fest in a structured and organized manner.
• Expansion of the inter-city prelims: Growing the current inter-city prelims network to major cities by expanding the current contact directory of college POCs, and reaching out to them as early as possible.
Inter IIT 9.0
• Focus on cups having smaller weightage: A section of the budget will be allotted for getting professional involvement and external mentorship for the Culinary and Comedy Cup. The trial process for the same is to be started right after Rendezvous, after scouting participants during events in the fest.
• Rulebook reading session: A mandatory rulebook reading session for all the cups to ensure that we get the fewest contentions filed against us and file the maximum contentions against our competitors.
• Transparent selection process: Ensuring a public, structured selection rubric for each club, designed by the core team and the advisory panel, and providing relevant feedback to all the applicants.
PG Inclusivity
• PG Advisory Panel: Comprising one PG member each from all the 12 clubs, who will coordinate with the PG representatives for better participation, representation, and outreach through online communities.
• Bridging the UG-PG gap: Through a series of mandatory UG-PG workshops, active UG and PG members will be conducting workshops in PG hostels.
• Better Outreach: Consideration of PG events while drafting the event calendar and ensuring that mail for the events is sent at least a week prior to the event.
• Better fund management: Club secretaries and other cultural secretaries to help PG hostels to procure inventories and help them out in administrative and management processes.
• Conducting informal events in the Sahyadri Student Activity Area and in the Drona-Saptagiri OAT.
Miscellaneous
• Common BRCA Inventory: A common official BRCA inventory including speakers, mics, and projectors to be procured for the judicious use of clubs and hostels. A public sheet will be maintained in order to keep everyone accountable.
• Conduction of informal events: Organize various cultural activities during festivals throughout the year, boosting a sense of belonging within the student community.
